LOWER SWATARA TOWNSHIP POLICE
POSITION VACANCIES FOR POLICE OFFICER
This testing process will include a written test, physical agility test, oral board, polygraph examination, background investigation, physical examination, drug screen and psychological evaluation.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Each applicant for this position shall be at least 18 years of age at time of application and possess a diploma from an accredited high school or graduate equivalency. Each applicant shall possess, or be eligible for, certification under Act 120 to immediately begin service a Pennsylvania municipal police officer as of the time of appointment following this hiring process. In addition, each applicant must be a United States citizen, be physically and psychologically able to perform the essential functions of a police officer, and, prior to appointment and during his or her employment with the Township, possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
