HAMPTON, NH POLICE DEPARTMENT

FULL-TIME POLICE OFFICER

Hampton, New Hampshire is a beach resort community located along the beautiful New Hampshire Seacoast and directly adjacent to Interstate 95. Our Police Department is staffed with 36 Full-Time and 20+ Part-Time Sworn Officers. We serve a diverse community of 15,000 year-round residents and over 135,000 residents during the spring and summer months.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license
- Sufficient ability to meet Department and New Hampshire Police Academy standards
- Completion of college courses, military duty and/or relevant experience is desirable but not required
Hiring Process:
Candidates must at minimum participate in and pass all of the following areas:
