FULL TIME POLICE OFFICER

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, HUNTERDON COUNTY

The Franklin Township Police Department, Hunterdon County, is currently accepting applications for Full-time Police Officer position(s).  Experienced Officers with valid PTC  and current Class II Officers are welcome to apply. Entry pay will be based on experience. Class II officers will be sponsored for waiver. Entry level applicants are welcome to apply for a recruit position. 60 college credits or honorable military service preferred for recruit applicants.    

Minimum requirements

  • Preferred NJ PTC Full-Time Police Officer Certificate.
  • SLEO II Police Officers may also apply if they are eligible for a waiver.
  • Entry Level Recruit- High School Diploma or a GED, 60 College Credits / Honorable Military Service Preferred

Police Officer- Franklin Township, Hunterdon County. Is currently accepting applications for full-time police officers. All applicants must be between the ages of 18 & 35. A current police training certificate with no financial encumbrance pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40a:14-178 is preferred. Starting salary is $52,794 or $40,423 for recruits.
