POLICE OFFICER
Are you interested in joining our team?
The Eastham Police Department seeks a full-time, 40-hour per week Police Officer for its 17-member Department. The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, at least 21 years of age, have a valid Massachusetts Driver License, and possess or be able to obtain a MA license to carry a firearm. Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, however those with equivalent training, experience or other positive attributes will be considered. The candidate must pass a battery of physical, psychological and drug tests, along with an extensive background investigation, and be able to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Police Officer. Experienced MPTC/POST certified Police Officers are encouraged to apply for lateral transfer.
The position offers competitive salary and health insurance payment percentage, desirable “5 on, 3 off” schedule and opportunities for growth. The starting salary range for new officers is $55,099to $81,119 based on education and experience.
