Job Announcement:
The Deal Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of Probationary Police Officer.
Police Officer applicants must:
• Possess a minimum of an Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Be between 18 to 35 years of age, and be eligible for enrollment in the Police and Firemen’s Retirement System of New Jersey.
• Have a good reputation and be of sound moral character
• Possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license and be a citizen of the United States
• Be able to pass physical, and physiological examinations and meet essential job performance requirements
Final candidates must undergo a complete background investigation and pre-employment drug screening.
