NOW HIRING 

POLICE OFFICERS  

The Cornwall Borough, situated in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, and encompassing West Cornwall Township and Mt. Gretna Borough, is actively seeking applications for full-time police officer positions. 

While Act 120 training is preferred, it is not mandatory to apply for these positions. Lateral entry may be possible after a review of qualifications.

To be considered, applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid Pennsylvania driver's license, and hold a high school diploma or G.E.D. Additionally, candidates should meet the physical and mental fitness standards essential for police duties. Act 120 certification under Pennsylvania Act 120 (53 Pa. C.S.A. 2161) is a preferred but not required.  

The selection process includes written, physical, and psychological evaluations, along with a drug screening and a thorough background check.

Written test and Physical Test will be 1000 hours on November 25, 2023 at the Cornwall Borough Office 44 Rexmont Road Cornwall, PA 17016

The borough provides a comprehensive benefits package.  For individuals who are not Act 120 certified , the salary  is $60,000.  Act 120 certified receive $62,000.
