COLUMBIA BOROUGH POLICE DEPARTMENT
IS NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR
Patrol Officer
Progressive Police Department seeking officer candidates eager to work in the Law Enforcement Profession. The application period will end on 11/24/21 at 5:00 p.m. Information on oral Interview testing will be forthcoming. Although academy certification (Act 120) is preferred, all applicants are welcome to apply.
SALARY
The salary scale is as follows:
- Uncertified rate- $45,929/ $22.08 per hour
- Certified rate (completed academy)- $49,603/ $23.84 per hour
- After 1 year of service- $66,393/ $31.91 per hour
- After 5 years of service- $78,559/ $37.76 per hour
- After 6 years of service- $81,701/ $39.28 per hour

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

TESTING REQUIREMENTS
Minimum passing scores of 70% on the 2021 Lancaster County Police Chiefs Examination
