General Notice: The City of Bristol is accepting applications for Police Officer testing to establish an eligibility list for filling future vacancies. Initial testing includes: CHIP Card (physical ability exam), written examination, and oral examination.
Minimum Qualifications: At time of application, applicant must be 21 years of age, have High School diploma or GED, and be U.S. citizen. Upon hire date must possess & maintain valid CT Driver’s License.
SalaryRange: $52,754 - $64,179

STEP 2: REGISTER FOR CHIP PHYSICAL ABILITY TEST BY MONDAY, MARCH 19, 2012:
· Requires valid CHIP Card (issued on or after October 7, 2011) OR must register directly with CHIP by Monday, March 19, 2012.
· CHIP Registration Forms and information available online at www.chip-inc.com/test/forms.asp .
· Mail CHIP REGISTRATION & MEDICAL APPROVAL FORMS with $65 APPLICATION FEE (Money Order OR Certified Bank Check only) to C.H.I.P., P.O. Box 774, Meriden, CT 06460. For questions about the CHIP Test contact (203) 235-5865.
Applicants will be required to present a valid CHIP Cardto obtain entrance to the Bristol Police Written Exam scheduled for Saturday, April 7, 2012.
