MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- MUST BE A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES
- MUST BE 18YR OF AGE
- MUST HAVE HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT
- MUST BE ABLE TO READ, WRITE, AND SPEAK ENGLISH WELL AND INTELLIGENTLY
- MUST BE OF GOOD MORAL CHARACTER, AND HAVE NOT BEEN CONVICTED OF ANY CRIMINAL OFFENSE
- MUST PASS AN ORAL INTERVIEW, COMPREHENSIVE BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION, PSYCHOLOGICAL & DRUG SCREENING
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A PRE-ACADEMY PHYSICAL TRAINING TEST ON JULY 20TH.2026
ACADEMY DETAILS:
APPLICANTS WHO ARE SELECTED FROM THE HIRING PROCESS WILL ATTEND THE OCEAN COUNTY POLICE ACADEMY BASIC CO-MINGLED RECRUIT CLASS #127 WHICH WILL COMMENCE ON SEPTEMBER 4TH, 2026 AND GRADUATE TENTATIVELY IN FEBRUARY 2027. APPLICANTS WILL NEED TO PASS A PRE-ACADEMY PT-TEST WHICH WILL COMMENCE ON JULY 20TH, 2026.
