The Barnstead Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of Full-Time and Part-Time Police Officers. Minimum qualifications include: United States citizen, high school diploma or equivalent, must be 21 years of age at the time of appointment and the ability to pass a written, physical agility and oral board examination in addition to an extensive background investigation which may include a polygraph.The written exam will be waived for NH certified Full-Time Officers. Full-time and Part-Time certified officers, veterans and minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.
