HELP WANTED
Full Time Police Dispatcher
The Town of Sutton Police Department is seeking qualified candidates to fill one position of full time police dispatcher.
The successful candidate must be 18 years of age, a United States Citizen, possess a high school diploma or its equivalent and hold an active driver’s license. See complete job description for further details.
Previous experience with public safety dispatching and knowledge of related computer software will be given preference.
Starting pay for the position is 22.67 per hour. Shift differential is offered for night and evening shifts. Dispatchers work a 4/2 schedule and have numerous other benefits per collective bargaining agreement.
This position also would make successful candidate eligible to be appointed as a “traffic agent” who could perform road construction details.
