Full Time Public Safety Telecommunicator Trainee
The Lakewood Police Department in Ocean County is seeking qualified applicants to assume a position for a full time Public Safety Telecommunicator Trainee. Responsibilities include receiving telephonic or other electronic requests for emergency assistance, determining the nature of the emergency and utilizing radio, telephonic or other electronic equipment to dispatch Law Enforcement, Fire, and EMS units. Candidates should possess the following:
1. Basic Computer Experience
2. Multitasking Skills
Only qualified applicants will be evaluated. Applicants must be willing and able to work nights, holidays, and weekends.
The annual salary for this position starts at $45,470.71
