Full Time Public Safety Dispatcher

The Ayer-Shirley RECC is seeking applications for a Full Time Public Safety Dispatcher due to an expected vacancy.

Preferred, but not required, candidates will possess PowerPhone EMD, MA NG911 and DCJIS certifications, as well as dispatch and Tri-Tech / IMC CAD software experience. Candidates must complete and pass: an oral interview, comprehensive background investigation, and drug screening. Candidates who are selected must also complete and pass the Department’s Training Program and one year probationary period.

Full Time Public Safety Communicator starting salary after training is $25.48/hr. The Town of Ayer offers a 4/2 schedule, shift differential, education incentive, education reimbursement, 75/25 Health Insurance, three personal days, two weeks’ vacation, as well as other incentives.
