HIRING ANNOUNCEMENT

FULL TIME NJ PTC CERTIFIED POLICE OFFICER

GENERAL DUTIES

Exercise authority consistent with the obligations imposed by the oath of office and in conformance with the general duties of the Department. To protect life and property and perform their duties, faithfully and diligently.

ABOUT WINFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT

  • The Township of Winfield is located in Union County
  • The Winfield Police Department currently has 9 full time sworn officers.
  • The Winfield Police Department currently works a Pitman schedule for patrol officers.
  •  
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • US Citizen
  • Graduated from High School or GED program
  • Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
  • New Jersey Police Training Commission (PTC) Certification in BCPO (Basic Course for Police Officers) a must
