NOW HIRING FOR THE POSITION OF
CERTIFIED POLICE OFFICER
The Wilton Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Certified Connecticut Police Officers (CT POSTC). The Town of Wilton is located in lower Fairfield County with the population of approximately 18,000. The Town is 27.4 square miles with a residential/commercial setting that is 45 minutes north of New York City.
The Wilton Police Department was established in 1969 and has 44 sworn officers. The Department has several specialty units:
• K9 Unit
• Accident Reconstruction Team
• Selective Enforcement Unit
• Regional Emergency Response Team (ERT)
• Police Bike Patrol
• School Resource Officer
• Crime Prevention
