The Western New England University Police Department adopts a hybrid model with fully sworn and certified University Police Officers that work in conjunction with non-sworn civilian Community Service Officers. Together, we operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Salary:
$73,000 annually
Qualification Standards:
Ten years of experience as a police officer, five of which must have been in a supervisory or specialty position preferred or a combination of military or progressive advanced police training that demonstrates a continuous increase in responsibility, complexity, or difficulty over time.
Associates Degree in Criminal Justice or related field of study preferred.
Must be MPTC Post-C certified as a full-time Massachusetts police officer.
