TEANECK POLICE DEPARTMENT
POLICE OFFICER
The Teaneck Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time police officer. The department is accepting applications that meet the following criteria:
Applicants that have successfully completed a full Basic Course for Police Officers at a school approved and authorized by the New Jersey Police Training Commission. Applicants must be in possession of the course completion certificate. Note, this does not include a Basic Course for Special Law Enforcement Officer Class II.
Applicants will be subject to a rigorous employment application process including an extensive background investigation and review of all employment records. Candidates must also submit to and pass a medical, drug, and psychological evaluation.
The Teaneck Police Department is accredited by the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police and an Equal Opportunity Employer.
