Starting Salary: $72,322 - $78,998 (DOQ) POSTC Certified

Population served: 9,000 Department Size: 13

Town of Portland accepting applications for full-time POSTC Certified Police Officer. Salary DOQ/fringe benefits/20-year Defined Benefit Pension, 5-3 Work Schedule. Must be US citizen, CT resident, possess valid CT Driver’s License, & never been convicted of crime. Subject to written test, oral interview, physical agility test, psychological & polygraph exams, drug screening, background investigation & pre-employment drug/alcohol testing.
