ACT 120 CERTIFIED POLICE OFFICER
The Morrisville Borough Police Department is currently seeking qualified applicants for a part-time Police Officer position, with a primary focus on truck enforcement within the borough.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a cohesive, community-focused law enforcement team while gaining valuable, hands-on policing experience in a dynamic municipality located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- US Citizen
- Current Pennsylvania Act 120 certification (MPOETC)
- Valid driver’s license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language
- Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive background investigation
- Successful completion of medical and psychological evaluations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct traffic enforcement and patrol operations with an emphasis on truck compliance
- Engage with community members and local businesses to address traffic-related concerns
- Complete reports and documentation in accordance with department standards
Benefits
- Schedule: Up to 30 hours per week
- Starting Pay: $32.00 per hour
- Annual Increase: $1.00 per hour increase each year through 2028
- Overtime for working on certain holidays
