Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age and no older than 35 years of age at their time of appointment (N.J.S.A. 43:16A-3(1))
Must possess at least 2 years of college, 2 years of military experience or 2 years of police experience.
Must possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license
Must be a resident of New Jersey at the time of employment
Must be able to read, write and speak the English language well and intelligently
Must be of good moral character and shall not have been convicted of any crime
Hiring Process:
Review of submitted application
Complete background investigation
Formal interview
Medical / Psychological / Drug exams upon receipt of conditional offer of employment
Sign conditional offer of employment
Salary:
