As a nationally accredited agency through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA), we are committed to upholding the highest standards of law enforcement and community policing.

Position Details: We are currently accepting applications for full-time Police Officers. Qualified applicants must hold a valid Connecticut POSTC certification or be able to achieve certification through comparative compliance within 30 days of hire.

  • Top Step Patrol Pay on 07/01/2026: $91, 309.73

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s Degree preferred)
  • Valid Connecticut Motor Vehicle Operator’s License
  • At least 21 years of age
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Good character and high moral standards
  • Ability to pass a thorough background investigation, polygraph, medical and psychological examinations, as well as physical agility and written tests
  • Other special requirements may apply
