Intergovernmental Transfer for Full Time Police Officer

The Nutley Police Department is currently accepting resumes for the position of full-time Police Officer in accordance with the New Jersey Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) Intergovernmental Transfer Program (ITP).

Criteria:

  • Officer must currently be employed full time by a civil service agency as a PTC certified Basic Police Officer.
  • Officer must have no less than 2 years and no more than 8 years in-service as a PTC certified Basic Police Officer.
  • Must currently reside and work, full time, in one of the counties of New Jersey.

Starting salary commensurate with experience:  $43,704.05 - $125,268.00
