MERIT DEPUTY

The Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for the position of Merit Deputy. You must be a US Citizen AND 21 years of age to apply for this position. Hendricks County Government offers a wide array of benefits for all full-time employees including:

Probationary Salary (one year) $56,205

Merit Deputy Salary $62,450

The Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office only accepts employment applications through Policeapp.com. https://www.policeapp.com/Indiana-Police-Jobs/. There is no application fee to apply.  After the close of applications, a written test will be administered through EMPCO.  There is a fee to take the EMPCO-Deputy Exam, but the results may be accepted by all participating Sheriff’s Offices in Indiana. If you are selected for hire by the Hendricks County Sheriff's Office, we will reimburse you for the EMPCO examination fee.  The deadline for submitting applications is TBD. 

 

 NO PAPER APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE HENDRICKS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE OR THE HENDRICKS COUNTY HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT.
