BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Berkeley Township Police Department maintains a highly trained staff of police officers and civilian personnel to provide professional reliable police services to our residents.  The department consists of an Administrative Services Section, Patrol Division, Detective Bureau, Traffic Safety Bureau, Communications Bureau and a Records Bureau.  Our specialty units include a Marine Bureau and an All-Terrain Vehicle Patrol.  The Berkeley Township Office of Emergency Management is also located in police headquarters.  Our officers are assigned to the County Emergency Services Unit as well as the County Special Operation’s Group.   Berkeley Township Police are active instructors at the Ocean County Police Academy and at various other schools throughout the area.
