The Williamsport Bureau of Police provides police and safety services for the City of Williamsport. Our 51-officer department consists of several units: the Patrol Division, the Criminal Investigation Division, Specialty Services such as the Forensic Services Unit, K9 Unit, and Special Response Team Unit.

 

Our Mission: To enforce the law, preserve the peace, and improve the quality of life. To perform these duties to the highest ethical and moral standards, To adhere to the values of Courage, Integrity and Professionalism. 

The City of Williamsport is the county seat of Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The city has a population of approximately 30,000 residents.
