Ross Township Police Department

Mission

The mission of the Ross Township Police Department is to maintain the quality of life we enjoy and to ensure our Township is a safe place to live, work and visit. We will enforce the law impartially, while maintaining the highest degree of professionalism at all times. We are committed to this mission and our responsibility to maintain honor, integrity and service to the community we serve.

We currently have five full-time officers and four part-time officers. We have one officer assigned to the road to cover thirty-six square miles. We have a member assigned to the Butler County SWAT team and another assigned to the Butler County Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team. We have a School Resource Officer assigned to the Ross Middle School. There are three developments in progress which will allow our police department to double if not triple in size with full-time officers. We are a very community-oriented police department. We are looking for officers who share the same belief.
