The Bristol Police Department is currently seeking dedicated individuals who are ready to protect, serve, and strengthen our community.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Public Safety Dispatchers perform critical communications work, receiving emergency and non-emergency calls and dispatching police, fire, and EMS units. This role serves as the central hub of communication and plays a vital role in public safety operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a United States citizen
- Must be at least 18 years of age on or before appointment.
- Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license
- Must possess a high school or GED.
- Must pass a comprehensive background investigation, oral interview, drug screening, and a medical exam before appointment.
- Must be willing and available to work various shifts and hours.
