HIRING POLICE DETECTIVE SERGEANT
The Town of Plymouth, NH Police Department is seeking a full-time; community-. oriented Detective / Sergeant to be part of our team. The Police Department is comprised of 13 full-time officers and provide 24-hour coverage to approximately 7,000 full-time residents with an increase of approximately 5,000 college students during the school year.
Qualified applicants shall have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and must be a NH full-time Police Officer, possess a valid NH Driver’s License, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Applicants must have at minimum of five years full-time police experience and at least two of those years as a Detective. Prior supervisory skills highly recommended, but not required.
Candidates will be required to complete a physical fitness test, oral board interview, psychological, medical examination, and a thorough background investigation which may include a polygraph examination prior to employment.
