Identification/Property Officer
(Part Time)
Performs work involved in the identification of persons through the use of fingerprints, photography, etc. serves as a member of the institutional Pre-Release Committee; performs evidence handling duties; does related work as required. Works under the direction of the Police Lieutenant. Interviews inmates. Records evidence. Maintains records and files.
Requirements:
Experience of two years in the taking, filing and searching of fingerprints. Knowledge of photography and digital imaging equipment. Required to possess a driver’s license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.
