HIRING ANNOUNCEMENT

GREENWICH TOWNSHIP POLICE DEPARTMENT

SPECIAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER

CLASS II & III

The Greenwich Township Police Department located in Warren County is now accepting applications for the position of a Special Law Enforcement Officer (SLEO II & SLEO III).  Their main responsibilities will be within the Greenwich Township School District for both Greenwich Elementary School and Stewartsville Middle School.  Applicants must have, at a minimum, a valid New Jersey Police Training Commission Certificate for SLEO II or SLEO III.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and resident of New Jersey by the date of appointment; be at least twenty-one (21) years of age; have good moral character and not been convicted of a criminal offense involving moral turpitude; be psychologically and physically fit to perform all the duties of a Police Officer; be able to read and write the English language well; and possess a valid New Jersey driver's license by date of appointment.  Salary is $30.00 per hour.
