CAPE MAY POLICE DEPARTMENT
 IS NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR:

FULL-TIME POLICE OFFICER(S) WITH VALID CERTIFICATION.

(BCPO Certification or Class 2 Certification Required to Apply)

Requirements:

Openings are for Entry Level Police Officers Positions.

We cannot accept NJ DOC Applicants / Correctional Police Officer certifications.

Applicants Must Possess a NJ PTC Basic Course for Police Officer Certification, be enrolled in a BCPO Alternate Route Program, or possess a Valid Class 2 Certificate.   Applicants must possess the certification from a New Jersey Police Academy.


Cape May Police Department is currently seeking to hire dedicated and determined individuals for a full-time Police Officer position, who currently possess a New Jersey PTC Basic Course for Police Officer Certification, be enrolled in a BCPO Alternate Route Program, or possess a valid Class 2 Certificate.  Applicants must possess the certification from a New Jersey Police Academy.  

Applicants will be subject to a thorough background investigation. Candidates must also submit to and pass both a medical evaluation, a psychological evaluation, and a physical fitness test as a condition of employment.
