Full Time Police Officer

The Town of Stratham, New Hampshire, (population 7,600) is accepting applications for the position of full-time Police Officer. The ideal candidate must be 21 years of age, will be detail-oriented, maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, and be able to manage multiple tasks. An associate’s degree in criminal justice or a related field from an accredited college or university or honorable discharge from military service is preferred. Preference will be given to current full-time NH Certified Officers.

The testing process includes a written examination, (waived for current NH full time officers), physical agility test, oral interview, background investigation, psychological evaluation and polygraph examination. Salary range between 48,692 to 65,437 depending on years of prior NH police service. Excellent benefits package is offered.
