The towns of Woodbury and Bethlehem are accepting applications for the position of part-time School Resource Officer. The selected candidate will be a sworn part-time Police Officer in both towns.
- Pay rate is $32.00 per hour consisting of an accumulated 38-40 hour workweek.
- A minimum of 180 workdays, adhering to the Regional School District 14 school calendar.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must possess a current CT-POSTC certification or be a current/recently retired Connecticut State Police Trooper eligible to obtain CT-POSTC certification.
Testing Requirements: Qualified candidates will be required to complete a written examination.
Special Requirements: Candidates who successfully pass the written examination may progress to oral interview(s). The candidate who successfully completes the oral interview(s) must pass an extensive background investigation, polygraph, psychological and medical examination including drug screening and any other POSTC certification requirements. Physical Agility/Cooper Test may be given at a future date.
