The Point Pleasant Beach Police Department is a full service police department that serves 5,400 residents and approximately 2,000,000 visitors each year. We are a police department that embraces the philosophy of Community Policing in its daily operations and functions. Community Policing is based upon the partnerships between the police and the community whereby they both share responsibility of identifying, reducing, eliminating and preventing problems that impact community safety. By working together, the police and the community can reduce the incidence of crime and improve quality of life in neighborhoods.
