SPECIAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER CLASS II

(SLEO II)

The Harding Township Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Special Law Enforcement Officer Class II.

Candidate qualifications include:

• Must possess a current New Jersey Police Training Commission certificate for SLEO II from an accredited New Jersey police academy
• United States Citizenship and New Jersey resident
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be of good moral character and not convicted of any criminal offense
• Must possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license

The Harding Township Police Department selection process consists of:

• Submission of a pre-employment application, cover letter and PTC certificate
• Oral interviews
• Background check
• Medical/psychological exams

Filing deadline is June 26, 2018.
