CLASS III SPECIAL POLICE OFFICER

Egg Harbor Twp. Police is seeking to Hire 1 Class III Officer

The Egg Harbor Township Police Department Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Class III Special Police Officer.  The applicant must be a retired law enforcement officer less than 65 years of age who previously served as a duly qualified, fully trained full time officer in any municipality or county of this state or as a member of the State Police and was separated from prior service in good standing within 3 years of appointment to this position. The Class III legislation also requires the Officer be a resident of the State of New Jersey.  The starting salary for this position is thirty-four ($34.00) dollars an hour. 

It is anticipated that hiring will occur in August for the 2023-2024 school year.
