Entry-Level Non-Certified Police Officer
The Bordentown Township Police Department is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for the position of full-time Police Officer.

This is an Alternate Route Appointment, NON-PTC (BCPO) certified applications only. Residents of Bordentown Township, SLEO Class II and those currently enrolled in a PTC certified Police Academy are encouraged to apply. All applicants must pass medical, psychological and oral interview prior to appointment. Academy administered PT test is also required.
Benefits Include:
- Starting salary for 2026 officers begins at $59,000 while attending the academy
- Step 1 upon graduation, $65,665, with top pay reaching $133,224 after 11 steps (2028).

Minimum Qualifications
- Citizen of the United States, and
- A resident of New Jersey at the time of appointment, and
- A valid New Jersey driver's license at the time of appointment, and
- Minimum age of 18 years, Maximum age of 34 years at time of appointment
