Laurel Springs is a small, 0.5-square-mile Borough in Camden County, NJ, with a population of approximately 2,000. Known as a quiet, suburban community, it is located about 14 miles from Philadelphia. The town is historically significant for being a summer home to poet Walt Whitman.
Minimum Requirements:
- NJ resident, at time of appointment
- US Citizen
- 18+ years of age
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to perform all the tasks and duties of a Police Officer
- Possess a valid NJ Driver’s License
- Must not have been convicted of any criminal offense and successfully pass a background investigation
- Successfully pass a psychological exam, medical exam and drug screening
- Successfully pass an oral interview.

- Salary 50,000 - 95,000 (8 Steps for certified officer)
- Academy Salary 40,000/ 42,000
- Shift Differential
