Special Law Enforcement Officer Class 2 (SLEO2)
Class 2 Special Law Enforcement Officer Vacancy:
- Applicants must possess a PTC certification for SLEO II or Basic Course for Police Officers (Class A Certificate) with less than three years of separation from a full-time N.J. law enforcement agency.
- Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and be less than 65 years in age at time of appointment, and possess a valid New Jersey drivers license.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation, pre-employment medical examination, psychological examination, and Attorney General Law Enforcement drug screening.
- Must be able to read and write the English language proficiently.
- Applicant must be physically capable of performing the functions of this position, as determined in accordance with the Police Training Commission.
The starting hourly rate, based on experience, is $25.00 - $35.00 per hour.
