The West Long Branch Police Department is now accepting applications for entry-level Police Officer. Applicants must possess a Class A or Class II Certification or be enrolled in a NJ Police Academy to attain either certification. We offer a competitive Patrolman Salary Range from $46,680 - $141,3788. WLBPD has 22 full-time sworn officers, 1 SLEO III officer, 2 SLEO 1 officers and serves a community of roughly 8,600 residents. Our jurisdiction is 2.9 square miles consisting of several major roadways including State Highway 36 and State Highway 71.
