The North Caldwell Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Dispatcher (Communication Officer). We are seeking qualified candidates who hold Basic 911 and Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) certifications.
Applications can be completed online or picked up in person at the North Caldwell Police Department. Completed applications must be submitted along with a resume. Certified applicants should also provide copies of their Basic 911 and EMD certifications.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Ability to pass a background check
Compensation:
- Starting Salary: $40,000
- Top Pay: $58,000 (after 8 step increases)
- Additional Benefits: 13 paid holidays and other contractual benefits
