Now Hiring: SLEO I Police Officers (Seasonal)
The Brigantine Police Department is seeking motivated applicants for Special Law Enforcement Officer Class I (SLEO I) positions. Duties include traffic and spectator control, beach and parking enforcement, and general public safety support.
Minimum Requirements
- U.S. citizen and New Jersey resident
- Valid NJ driver’s license (non-probationary)
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
- Physically fit and in good health
- Good moral character; no disqualifying criminal history
- Able to pass psychological, medical, and drug testing
Hiring Process

- Drug, medical, and psychological exams
