Job Announcement:

Entry Level Full Time Officers and certified SLEO II
The Lindenwold Police Department is seeking to hire both Full-Time Police Officers and SLEO II, with intentions of transitioning to full-time. We are looking to hire dedicated and energetic individuals who have a passion for community policing. We currently employ 44 Sworn Police Officers, 1 Special Law Enforcement Officer (SLEO III), 5 Civilian Employees, and approximately 20 Crossing Guards. We offer competitive benefits and salary as well as excellent training and equipment.
Requirement Qualifications:
The position is for an entry-level police officer and trained SLEO II
Entry Level Applicants would be required to attend the Camden County Police Academy in January 2026.
Additional Requirements:
-Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
-Must be 18 years of age and less than 35 years of age at the time of appointment.
-Must be a resident of New Jersey and a citizen of the United States.
-Must possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license.
-Applicants must be of good moral and ethical character.
-Must not have been convicted of any criminal offense or offenses involving moral depravity.
-Entry Level Full Time Salary: $56,211
