Mount Olive Township Police, NJ Police Jobs

HIRING ANNOUNCEMENT

Immediate part-time police dispatchers,

with the possibility of future full-time dispatcher positions.

The Mount Olive Police Department operates a Communications Center that is responsible for dispatching police, fire, and emergency medical services within Mount Olive. Upon completion of an in-house training program, part-time dispatchers will work various shifts, up to a maximum of (29) work hours per week. In the event that full-time positions open within the agency, preference is given to part-time dispatchers who are looking migrate to full-time employment.

This position is an excellent entry level position for individuals seeking a career in the public safety field (police, fire, and EMS) or individuals with experience in the field. As experience is not necessary, applications shall be completed in full and returned to the Mount Olive Police Department.

Full-time dispatchers for the Mount Olive Police Department participate in the New Jersey Public Employees Retirement System (PERS).
