Join Our Team: Modern Policing for a Stronger, Safer Community
BE A PART OF CHANGE:
Are you ready to take on one of the most meaningful careers, where you can truly make a difference? Do you want to be part of an agency that is transforming public safety? We are seeking dedicated, forward-thinking individuals who understand the complexities of modern-day policing. You'll be part of a team where the balance between protecting the community and serving its needs is at our core. As a police officer, you will uphold the law and be a positive force for change, using empathy, respect, and professionalism to strengthen the bond between law enforcement and the public.
What We're Looking For:
- Community-Driven Leaders: We want officers who genuinely care about the people they serve, are willing to put the community's well-being above all else, and understand that policing is about building trust and partnerships.
- Balanced Protectors and Servants: You'll need to master both the tactical side of policing and the relational side working to prevent crime while being approachable and engaged with the public.
- Physically Fit & Mentally Resilient: Modern policing demands not just physical strength, but also emotional intelligence. We seek individuals who can stay calm under pressure, think critically, and act decisively. You'll be required to work rotating schedules, weekends, and holidays.
- Family-Oriented, Respectful, and Inclusive: We value officers who understand the importance of family— both their own and the families they protect. We need professionals who treat every member of the community with respect, regardless of race, religion, or background.
What We Offer:
- Competitive Starting Salary. A competitive starting salary range $67,915 - $91,274 (2024) with a top salary of $145,768 (2024), based on your experience and qualifications, with opportunities for growth and advancement.
- Comprehensive Benefits Package: Including top-tier health coverage, dental, and vision for you and your family because we believe in taking care of those who take care of our community.
- Cutting-Edge Tools and Technology: You'll be equipped with the latest law enforcement technology and resources to keep you effective, efficient, and safe on the job.
- Strong Community Support: You'll be serving in a community that respects and values its police officers. Here, law enforcement and the public work hand-in-hand to create a safer environment for all.
- Diverse & Inclusive Environment: You'll work alongside some of the best, brightest, and most diverse officers in the state. We foster a culture of inclusion where you'll be encouraged to bring your unique perspective and actively engage with all members of our community.
- Proactive, Community-Centered Policing: We believe that policing is about more than just responding to calls—it's about being proactive and integrated with the community. You'll be encouraged to be visible, approachable, and engaged with residents, creating meaningful relationships that prevent crime before it happens.
