The Plainsboro Township Police Department, Middlesex County, NJ, is accepting applications from qualified candidates for a position of full-time Police Officer. Candidates shall not be under any contractual obligation to another department under NJSA 40A:14-178 or must be willing to satisfy any training reimbursement to the prior department.
An applicant must have two (2) years of verifiable employment, or a minimum of two (2) years active military service with honorable discharge.
Applicants are required to pass a physical fitness exam, oral boards, extensive background investigation, medical and psychological examinations, and a drug test prior to appointment.
The physical fitness test administered is the same standard Plainsboro Police Officers are required to pass bi-annually.
