SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP POLICE DEPARTMENT
(BURLINGTON COUNTY)
SLEO CLASS II
The Springfield Township Police Department (Burlington County) is currently accepting resumes for the position of SLEO Class II. The successful candidate is highly motivated, well organized, self-directed professional who embraces new challenges, and collaborates well with team members, accepts responsibility and; exhibits excellent oral and written communication skills. Successful SLEO Class II have been hired, and promoted, to Full Time Police Officers, when the position was available.
Applicants must possess the below qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey Police training certification for SLEO II or Police Officer;
- Be a citizen of the United States and a resident of the State of New Jersey prior to appointment;
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License;
- Must possess good moral character and a strong work ethic;
- Must be in good mental and physical health;
- Must pass a background check, and be free from conviction of any crime;
- Must be able to work 12 Hour shifts Day and Night
