The Nutley Police Department in Essex County, is accepting applications for a per diem 911 Telecommunicator/Dispatcher.
At least 18 years old
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to speak and read the English Language; Multi-Language is a plus
Current New Jersey Emergency Basic Telecommunicator (BTC)
Current New Jersey Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) certification.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment and make critical decisions.
Excellent communications skills, being able to provide accurate and timely information to emergency responders.
Must have one year experience and be available for various day, night and weekend shifts, as needed.
All qualified applicants will be required to undergo and pass a successful background check.
