NOW HIRING 

Special Law Enforcement Officer Class III (SLEO III)

Position: Special Law Enforcement Officer Class III (SLEO III)

The Washington Township Police Department, Bergen County is accepting applications for the position of SLEO III.

The successful candidate is highly motivated, well organized self-directed professional who embraces new challenges and collaborates well with team members, accepts responsibility, and sees assignments to completion; exhibits excellent oral and written communication skills. The candidate will be privy to highly confidential matters and transactions and must display the utmost discretion and professionalism.

Minimum Requirements:

 

*The applicant must be able to produce a letter of good standing issued by the agency from which the officer retired that lists the date and type of retirement.

Starting Salary for the Class III Special Police Officer shall be $35.00 per hour, and he/she shall work a schedule of 40 hours per week, to be determined, and only when school is in session. Position to begin in September.
