SLEO II
The North Hanover Township Police Department is currently accepting applications for SLEO II positions. Applicants must have completed the Basic Course for Police Officers and be New Jersey Police Training Commission certified or are currently enrolled in or have already completed the Alternate Route Program or have completed the S.L.E.O II program and are waiver eligible.
Applicants shall meet the following qualifications in order to apply:
- Must be a resident of New Jersey and a citizen of the United States.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Shall have graduated from high school or possess a General Equivalency Degree (GED.)
- Ability to perform the tasks and duties of a Police Officer.
- Possess a valid New Jersey Driver’s License.
- Be in good health and able to pass a medical examination that satisfies guidelines provided by the Police Training Commission.
- Be in sound mind and able to successfully pass psychological testing establishing fitness for duty.
